Mind = Blown Monday's: Black Holes in the Ocean?

Who would have known?

So apparently some researchers out of Switzerland discovered the telltale signatures of a black hole in some eddies found in the Atlantic ocean. Eddies are described as maelstroms which are bigger than cities which wind up billions of tonnes of ocean water so tightly that nothing can escape it. An ocean eddy is to water as a black hole is to light, is the way that the researchers seem to give the comparison. This is so crazy that we have been able to find something on earth that could better help us to understand an occurence that happens in the universe that us human beings have been so fascinated with since forever. So if you want to find out more about how all of this is broken down click here. Sorry if I can't give you more details on this amazing find my mind really is blown with this knowledge

So did that blow your mind it sure did blow mine. Like, share, comment below, let me know anything that has blown your mind recently.

I was so excited to see this movie,  I was bursting with so much energy that I couldn't sit still through the previews with such bottled up anticipation over this thriller. I initially thought that we weren't going to see this movie until around Halloween time as part of our horror movie month tradition in my household. Anime Review Sunday: Waiting in the Summer

Ano natsu de matteru aka: Waiting in the summer

Today's anime review is on another semi romantic comedy called 'Waiting in the summer". This is not another Netflix anime find, I found this while flipping through CrunchyRoll. By the way has anyone else noticed how Netflix is slowly but surely condensing down their Anime selections lately. I guess they figured they didn't have a strong base of anime fans, boy are they wrong when I first got Netflix I was enthralled with the big selection that they did have with their Anime section. Now its slim pickings, I totally lucked out that they still had Rosario and Vampire still available. Oh well thank God for CrunchyRoll. Keep reading below to find out more about Waiting in the summer.

First Impressions of the new RoboCop trailer

Will this remake be a hit, or a RoboFlop?

In recent years, Hollywood has bombarded movie-goers with a slew of remakes and reboots such as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Total Recall, The Incredible Hulk, and Man of Steel. The stink of 2007’s Spider-Man 3 hadn’t even faded before we got a reboot of that franchise with The Amazing Spider-Man in 2012. Now RoboCop will be getting the remake treatment in 2014.

Movie goers have repeatedly expressed their disdain of remaking and rebooting solid classic movies, and rightfully so. Not very many of them have been successful attempts. Will this new RoboCop be any different? Check out the new trailer and decide for yourself.

The first trailer for 2014’s RoboCop was released a couple of days ago, and there has been some buzz about it on internet forums and the YouTube comments sections. As with any remake, comparisons are bound to be made with the original material. Here are four things that stood out in the new trailer that appear to be different from the 1987 RoboCop.

7 years of awesome!

Its my anniversary!

Today is my husband and myself's anniversary, and yes every anniversary is special, but this one top them all so far. Why? Well its our 7 year anniversary today, you know the one they always talk about when you first get married. You know the one that statistics always say that most couples in our age group don't make it to.  Out of all the things that I've accomplished in my life this is one of the biggest ones in this moment, that I am proud to say that I've accomplished and look forward to more to come over the next infinite years to come.

Our story is not typical

Why do I say that you ask? Well, we aren't the typical couple. Through the years we have been through so
many things in the short time that we have been together, as each year has gone by those struggles and hardships have made us stronger and stronger as time has gone by. I feel that through it all we have been deepened our relationship as a family with our son, he's sees through our commitment that any thing that you truly love is worth working hard for. Sometime I feel that is the problem in most marriages in our age group, people get so stuck on the fairy tale aspect. You know the ones where nothing ever goes wrong, where everything is just rainbows and sunshine everyday. So when life happens, most our quick to head to divorce court, due to not building that solid foundation together through struggles and all.  Success without hard work can be fleeting.  So that why I keep that in my head, and always push to put in work in our relationship as every hour, day, month, and years go by.

This is to you baby

I love you Tawn Smith these past 7 years of marriage have been a total blessing, thank you for being you and always accepting me for who I am and never giving up on me. You are an amazeballs husband and friend and I truly appreciate you for that. Thank you biscuit!

Keep it Nerdy!

Anime Review Sunday: Rosario + Vampire

Rosario + Vampire Review

Today's new feature for Sunday's is Anime Review's, where I'll review different anime's that I've found on Netflix. I can admit that as far as anime's go as an adult I'm a real sucker for the fantasy, romantic, and comedic aspect of this genre. Even though I am a true gore fan, and I love anime's with a lot of blood and guts. I'll stay interested and wanting more if the particular anime has a little bit of romance and comedy sprinkled in here and there. I love that anticipation aspect, you know building momentum for the romantic arch through every episode. So today's featured anime review will Rosario + Vampire, so keep reading to find out what I think.
