Nerd Love: Gianluca Mattia

Today I want to feature some of the art of this ridiculously talented artist Gianluca Mattia, I've been a fan of his work since about 2009. Gianluca just has a way of make every piece just pop, and his work is far from the norm.

I'm a total art freak, but its not something that I always broadcast to people, I guess its because I'm a fan of the weird perspectives of it and that started every since I seen a Dali print when I was a teen. I went through a phase for several years from 19 up until I met my husband of just collecting all that I could in regards to Dali from tea cups, calendars, and every book that I could get my hands on. I can be honest it was a complete obsession for a while there.

Today's Monday love goes out to horror movie 'Seed' by director,writer, producer Uwe Boll. This movie truly is not for the squimish , even I squirmed a little bit and I'm a total gore movie buff. Seed was another one of those Netflix date night movies that we happened to have found on a late Friday night. All I know that after seeing one of the scenes, 1 year later I still can't get it out of my head , oh yeah I found a clip from that exact seen for you to freak out and enjoy as well.

Today's horror feature is V/H/S directed by directing quartet Radio Silence, it is a series of found footage shorts.. If you don't like POV movies then this may not be the movie for you, the whole entire movie is shot from a POV perspective. So yesterday while browsing my favorite tech/geek news site bit rebels, I came across an article about driverless cars being here sooner than we think. It blew my mind that we have finally got our stuff together and their are companies beside Google that have clear concepts already in the works that could be rolled out in the next couple of years. Car companies like Toyota, Audi, and Mercedes have concept cars already produced that they revealed recently at the Las Vegas tech convention CES this week. So today  found out some news on Fearnet.com's facebook fan page, that apparently the Chiodo brothers cult classic film Killer Klowns  from outer space has a sequel in the works that is rumored to be released either later 2013 or 2014. It will be called The Return of the Killer Klowns from outer space 3-D.

Nerdy Show you must watch: Archer

Okay yeah, maybe this show isn't so nerdy so to speak, but it is a favorite of me who tends to totally obsess over really good, funny animated shows. Like seriously every couple of months I do a Netflix marathon of  season's 1 and 2. I love this show so much because it really just pushes the limits way past anything that I have seen on TV. Yes I am a total Adult swim fan, and anything Seth Macfarlane fan, but when I saw the first episode of "Archer" I fell into animated love. The MA rating is totally fair judgement of this delightfully sinful series. So in honor of the Season 4 premiere, I would like to introduce the world of Archer characters so you can be caught up with the madness of this show before season 4 starts on January 17th.
