Embrace the weird: Woman captures a chupacabra

via Science Channel

So today's weird we are going to talk about , a strange creature that people have been claiming to see for years, and years now but know one has been able to capture actual footage or even evidence of this creature. This supposed animal is up their with sightings of Bigfoot and the Lochness monster. I am talking about the Chupacabra, the you know the old folklore about the dog like creature who is super skinny and hairless that goes around draining blood and mutilating livestock around the southwest and Mexico regions. Well apparently a woman by the name of  Phylis Canion has finally capture one of these creatures. Keep reading to find out more.

The Texas Blue Dog

The title explains it all since this animal was discovered by Canion in Texas around 2007 after several  of her animals came  up missing and then she eventually found the dead carcases. She's  had DNA testing done on the dead chupacabra, but all have come out inconclusive as far as finding out what and where this creature comes from. Phylis has her own theory as to where these creatures come from, she believes that these creatures live underground and due to flooding in Texas they have come out of hiding. There is actually going to be more explanation of what is exactly going on with this Texas creature tonight on the Science Channel, so check your local listings to find out what time its coming on.
